I'm not familiar with the Jamaican Black Castor Oil. Have you used it before? What results did you get. I have short, thick, kinky, curly hair (4b with a little 4a)
Thank you so much for the info, as you know being natural is all new to me could you share with me , from your experince the benefit to the hair of using natural castor oil, also how do you use castor oil concerning the hair? . My husband is jamacian and he visits a really good jamacian health food store in NY. So maybe I can find some natural castor oil there as well. Thanks a bunch ( smile)
Castor oil is an emollient that used for hair growth and moisture. I'm currently participating in Part 2 of the Castor Oil Challenge on hairlista.com. I've been in the challenge since April 22, when it began. It ends on July 22.
I haven't had the opportunity to try Jamaican black castor oil so I'm excited to see if there is a difference in growth results.
You can view my results from the challenge at http://public.fotki.com/new2naptural/june-2009/castoroilchallenger.html and http://public.fotki.com/new2naptural/june-2009/castoroilcomparison.html

My hair is what is defined as type 4a with very little 3C in the front top.
